Sunrise and Moonlight on the Lake

Here are a couple of photos of Lake Pend Oreille taken during our summer 2014 trip to Idaho.

Both photos were taken with a Canon EOS 10D and processed through Lightroom.

The top photo was taken during a sunrise and the bottom photo during the August full moon.

a few car shows

Summers in the Pacific Northwest are great for a number of reasons, including the car shows.

One of the bigger events of the summer in the Puget Sound area is the Good Guys show, which is held at the Puyallup Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA.

There are other shows in the area throughout the year, sponsored and held at regional events, 4th of July festivals, car clubs and the like.

Tacoma, WA is now the proud home of LeMay - America's Car Museum. It is a spectacular facility and rotates different displays through during the year. The LeMay now plays host to the annual Kirkland Concours d'Elegance, which is held every September.
